Open the My Computer window on your computer. It should contain a Removable Disk icon that refers to the G-70s internal memory.

Use the left mouse button to double-click the G-70 Removable Disk icon.
Delete any files contained in the G-70s Update folder.

Copy the .sys file (the update file), which you downloaded from the rolandkeyboardclub.com website, to the Update folder of your G-70.

When all files have been copied, terminate the USB connection using the tray icon at the right of your computers tool bar.
The tray icon related to the USB connection looks like a green arrow on top of an electronic device.
Leave the mouse pointer on this icon and wait for the safely remove hardware message to appear.
Using the left mouse button, double-click on this icon to open a window that lists all hardware devices that are currently connected to that USB port.
Select USB mass storage device and check at the bottom whether the device description refers to your G-70 (G-70 mass storage device).

Click Disconnect, and in the next window OK, then wait for the message that informs you that you can disconnect the hardware.
Click OK to close this window.
9.
Press the [1] button in the G-70s USER PROGRAM section.
The G-70 starts loading the new system software.
When all data have been loaded, the Power Off and Power On again message appears.
Switch off the G-70, wait a moment, then switch it on again.
10.
Press [MENU] > [UTILITY] > [FACTORY RESET], and [EXECUTE] to initialize the G-70.
Press the [EXIT] button to return to the main page.
11.
Press [MENU] > [UTILITY] > [INFO] and check the Version entry in the display.
